POSITIONS 

Duties/responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out individual treatment plans prescribed by medical professionals.
• Monitoring members and recording your observations.
• Reporting back on each member’s progress and concerns.
• Ensuring members have a safe and supportive environment.
• Diffusing situations in which members wish to harm themselves or others.
• Providing emotional support to members.
• Alerting medical professionals to intervene in emergencies.
• Carrying out assessments and other administrative tasks.
• Assessing members, understand and implement individual treatment plans. Record patient behavior.
• Record members medications and assist with medication administration, assisting  in activities of daily living.
• Provide guidance, positive role modeling as well as a safe, and supportive environment for the members.
• Maintaining strict member confidentiality.
• Work with other medical professionals to provide basic care to medical members
• Assist members with tasks they cannot perform on their own.

Required Skills:

• Possess a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) certificate
• Experience working in a mental health institution or psychiatric ward a plus.
• Ability to treat members with dignity and empathy.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Good physical fitness.
• Acute observation skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old, have experience working with people with disabilities and disability issues.
• Clean Drivers License (Not a must)
